For Parents:
While children are cared for by trained volunteers, parents participate in trust-building exercises, resilience activities, and peer support discussions. Share your experiences, learn from others, and build lasting connections with parents who understand your journey.
For Children:
Children enjoy snacks, games, crafts, and music in a fun, supervised setting. Childcare is provided by background-checked volunteers who create a welcoming space for kids to play and connect.
Registration is required for each meeting. Families receive reminder texts two weeks before each session with registration information.

Testimonials
Lives Transformed Through Journey House Recovery Center
Journeys of Hope
I arrived with little more than a sliver of hope that I could develop and maintain a recovery lifestyle after 25 years of being controlled by drugs and alcohol. The staff showed me a kind of love I had never experienced. For 2 years I lived in a JH recovery house, and was encouraged, challenged, and supported as I learned a completely new way to live… I get to be a parent again, a friend, a son, and a productive member of society. Best of all, I have self-worth, for the first time.

Journeys of Hope
Journey House has saved my life! Out of any program I’ve ever been involved in this is by far the best one I have been to. The staff really cares. Your not just a number. They make sure you are on the right path in recovery and in your normal life with work or personal issues. I am lucky to have found this place!

Journeys of Hope
Staff and peers are a family involved in every aspect of a recovery lifestyle based on individual prosperity and gratitude. Best recovery foundation in Richmond period.
