Winning design will be featured at annual tournament with a mission of making substance use disorder recovery accessible to all.

[Richmond, Virginia] – March 2026 –  Journey House Foundation is inviting artists, designers, students, and community members to help amplify its mission through creativity. The organization has announced a community-wide T-Shirt Design Contest in advance of its annual Larry Roberts Golf for Recovery Tournament taking place on June 5, 2026 at Brookwood Golf Club.

The winning design will be printed on the official tournament t-shirt worn by golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, helping raise awareness for recovery and behavioral health services across the region.

Journey House Foundation supports individuals and families navigating substance use recovery by expanding access to compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. Through connection, accountability, and professional care, the organization helps individuals build stability, restore relationships, and move forward with purpose.

“This contest is an opportunity for the community to engage with our mission in a meaningful and creative way,” said Kimberly Braine-Tillem, co-founder of Journey House Foundation. “We are excited to see designs that reflect hope, resilience, and forward momentum. These are values that we view as central to lasting recovery.”

T-Shirt Design Contest Details

Submissions will be accepted from March 9 through April 15 at 11:59 PM via an online Google submission form.

Design requirements include:

 

    • One-color artwork

    • Reflection of Journey House Foundation’s mission

    • Subtle golf elements encouraged

    • Space left at the bottom for sponsor logos

    • Original artwork only

Designs will be evaluated based on creativity, alignment with the organization’s mission, print readiness, and overall visual impact.

The winning designer will receive:

 

    • Public recognition across Journey House platforms

    • Recognition at the June 5 Golf Tournament

    • A featured spotlight story

    • A prize package valued at $500

The winner will be announced in May 2026.

The Journey House Foundation Golf Tournament brings together community leaders, business partners, healthcare professionals, and supporters for a day of connection and purpose-driven fundraising. Proceeds from the event support programs that expand access to outpatient behavioral health and recovery services.

The June 5 tournament will feature sponsored teams, community partners, and opportunities for businesses to support recovery-focused initiatives in the region.
