Angelia Elkins is a Certified peer recovery specialist(CPRS) and the Recovery Liaison for Journey House Recovery Center. Angie is the first face most see when they come to Journey House, serving as the front desk receptionist as well as staff support. She is committed to supporting individuals on their path to recovery. With a strong foundation in both professional experience and personal understanding, Angie strives to foster a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment for all clients and coworkers. As a person in long term recovery, she has a passion to give back to the community that helped her change her life.
Outside of work, Angie is a wife and a mother of 3 amazing boys. She accredits this to strengthening her patience and resilience, as well as giving her a reason to keep going and giving back. Angie loves true crime and horror movies, trail hiking, and a good adrenaline rush riding rollercoasters.
