Gretchen Riffe works as an Administrative Assistant for Journey House Recovery Center. She is originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, and moved to Richmond to become more involved in the recovery community. She is currently working toward her Associate’s Degree at Reynolds Community College.
Gretchen’s background is in retail and food service. She started working with Journey House Foundation through Recovery Corps in January 2026 and joined the Journey House team as an Administrative Assistant in July of the same year. Working at Journey House has given her the opportunity to build new professional skills while being part of an organization whose mission she really believes in.
Outside of work and school, Gretchen enjoys Richmond’s local music scene and plays bass in a local band.
