Jenn Suttler

Registered Peer Recovery Specialist

Jenn Suttler Bio

I started volunteering 5 years ago with Journey House Foundation to get my hours as a peer support. I eventually got hired on through Americorps/Recovery Corps in 2022 and became Certified as a peer support in 2023. Continued to serve with Americorps for 3 terms of service until 2025, during that time I got Registered as Peer Support and got hired on this September with Journey House Behavioral Health as a Registered Peer Support. I am very passionate about seeing others get this recovery thing and becoming who they were designed to be all along, thriving and living a recovery lifestyle within a recovery community of their choosing.

I have a registered service animal named Taco who supports me and loves on the participants while she is with me at Journey House. She is unconditional love in action and a natural healer. Fun fact about me is I love to travel to new places and I’m an artist. I have full portfolio of paintings that I have done and even sold quite a few. I am still very active in my recovery community as well and value self care of my own recovery at the highest of standards. I am also a mother to a 21 year old son named Landon. I value my higher power, my recovery and my network along with my family to help me through the tough times in life as they appear.
