Kim Engleman is the Direct Care Manager at Journey House Behavioral Health. Kim previously served as a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor. She combines her expertise in counseling with her passion for helping individuals on their recovery journey. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and a Substance Abuse Counseling Certification (CSAC) from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Kim keeps herself grounded to nature by running along the scenic trails of the James River Park system and finds inspiration in the world of art, music, and dance, while spending time with her family and her two beagles. A fun and quirky fact about Kim is that she once lived in an artist commune in upstate New York after college, an experience that enriched her creative spirit and unique perspective on life.
