James “JG” Grimes is the Operations Assistant at Journey House Foundation, where he supports the organization’s mission to provide quality substance use disorder services and sober living services. He began his career with Recovery Corps at Journey House Foundation and was hired full-time in August 2025. With three years of continued sobriety, JG brings compassion, professionalism, and lived experience to his role. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified and Registered Peer Recovery Specialist. Outside of work, JG enjoys playing golf, pickleball, bowling, and ping pong, spending time with his family and nieces, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and watching sports.
